the Dancing Crow Vineyard in Lake County, CA (north of Sonoma and Napa Valleys and slightly inland). This wine is simply a treat - it combines delicate floral high notes with ripe melon, citrus, mango, and guava suggestions. On the palate, it's zippy and vigorous while offering juicy grapefruit and honeydew flavors. Its crisp acidity means it will pair well with almost any dish you can think of, too. The winery was originally founded in St. Helena by Tony Cartlidge and Glenn Browne, and while the partners may have changed since their first release in 1980, Cartlidge & Browne still strives for "varietal correctness" - and this wine fits the bill.
