vineyard in the heart of Provence.
In this part of Provence, where the people, traditions and crops combine following the ancient and harmonious balance of their own ingenuity, the Château Montaud vines are grown on long schist and sandstone terraces.
In the heart of the Maures Mountains, Château Montaud is situated on the site of an old Roman "villa". The remains found during the restructuring of the vineyard (counterweight for a press, "dolia" for storing wine) bear witness to the presence of the vineyard already at that time. For three generations, the Ravel family has perpetuated this tradition.
