| Winemaker's Notes
Sofia Rosè displays a luminous magenta hue and beautiful perfume of wild strawberries, tea leaves, and violets. Luscious flavors of raspberries, cherries, candied orange, and cloves enliven the palate, making this year's vintage richly fruited yet graceful and lightly textured.
We typically harvest the grapes for our Sofia Rosé at a lower brix to ensure we get a light wine that pairs elegantly with food. For color extractions, the grapes are cold-soaked for 48 hours before the juice is separated from the skins. |
