Generous aromas of plums and cassis on the nose, with a touch of cedar that elegantly underlies the rich dark fruits on the nose. The wine is rich and full bodied on the palate, the acidity is supple, supporting the ripe plum, dark cherry fruit flavors. Alongside these you have hints of cocao, a touch of espresso bean and slight vanilla. The smooth tannins follow through to drive the finish, giving longevity to the palate.
Deep ruby in color. Dark fruit. Blackberry, black cherry, blackcurrant on the nose. On the palate, it's definitely got the ripeness of Napa. Very primary both on nose a palate but there is a decent amount of fruit and the tannin is not aggressive but very noticeable. Acidity is somewhat obscured by the sweetness of the fruit but it is there.
